(Written An Hour Earlier)

About to wrap up my yearly rewatch of Devilman Crybaby. Episode 9’s Credits right now.

When I first watched this at 18, I figured it becoming so popular was a sign that Humans were Healing.

Miki reaching out to other Devilmen in episode 9 inspired me to finally start my Career.

Along a con I intended in 2019, having rewatched it a bit before both.

I took up the name after a very hard period in my Life. Because I saw so many others hurting like me. And people tearing eachother apart.

I wanted to do what I could to help others hurting like me, do what Mimi did then. And try to show people you can go through Hell but still find Happiness and Strength.

I’m once again watching this in a time where Humanity’s Future seems shaky.

I’d lie if I said I wasn’t scared. Or any combination of Negative Feeling. Especially seeing ye another example from the Smash Community of how far gone we seem as a species.

But for every horrible headline there’s thousands of instances of people doing acts of Good and Kindness towards eachother for the sake of it.

We can feel all this dread. But we need to use it as a reminder to help ourselves AND eachother keep their Morale in these times.

I’m logging off after this.

Please take care of yourselves and eachother. Despite everything I still believe Humanity can have a Bright Future. As long as we exist we’ll have a shred of a chance.

Thanks to everyone who’s shown me kindness in these Six Years.

Good Night
